# Wires

A detailed explanation of controls and interface functions are described in the section [Wire Builder User Interface](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-o5qSv4zTkzj7YSmRTkV4zezFq7lwU00FyTy0kw1l1U/edit#bookmark=id.xrz1d1ui34bd).

1. Launch “HyperSkill-Desktop.exe”

2. &#x20;Log in to your account and select “Simulations” from the home screen
3. Select a simulation from the list and click on the pencil icon ![](/files/pc6btULh6TU57fAyHpC1) to open it in edit mode.
4. Click on the Wires tab ![](/files/fULvBBRpuowkzpc4nchh) to open the wire builder UI.
5. Create your wire as desired. A visualization of the wire will appear in the scene once all the required fields are populated.\

6. Save your work and press the X button to go back to the simulations screen. &#x20;

7. &#x20;Click on the simulation you want to experience and then click the eyeball icon.

8. &#x20;In experience mode, the wire will appear as authored, with physics applied.&#x20;
