# Wires
A detailed explanation of controls and interface functions are described in the section [Wire Builder User Interface](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-o5qSv4zTkzj7YSmRTkV4zezFq7lwU00FyTy0kw1l1U/edit#bookmark=id.xrz1d1ui34bd).
1. Launch “HyperSkill-Desktop.exe”
2. Log in to your account and select “Simulations” from the home screen
3. Select a simulation from the list and click on the pencil icon  to open it in edit mode.
4. Click on the Wires tab  to open the wire builder UI.
5. Create your wire as desired. A visualization of the wire will appear in the scene once all the required fields are populated.\

6. Save your work and press the X button to go back to the simulations screen.
7. Click on the simulation you want to experience and then click the eyeball icon.
8. In experience mode, the wire will appear as authored, with physics applied.
