# FAQ

Here are some frequently asked questions about Skillful that you may find helpful.

## Accounts and access

**Most simulations say Buy simulation. How do I get access?** Paid simulations need a Skillful subscription on your account. If your organization has one, ask whoever manages it to invite you to a seat. If you believe you already have access, email <support@siminsights.zendesk.com> with the email address on your account. **How do I create accounts for other staff?** They sign up at [platform.siminsights.com](https://platform.siminsights.com), then the person managing your plan invites them to a seat under [**Settings > Subscription**](https://platform.siminsights.com/settings/subscription).

**Should each student have their own account?** For group sessions, no: students join with a code and no account. For lessons in a class, yes: you add them by email and an account is created for them. See [Group sessions](/teach/group-sessions.md) and [Classes](/teach/classes.md).

**What roles exist in an organization?** Owner, Admin, Author and Viewer. See [Organizations](/organizations-and-subscription/organizations.md).

## Using Skillful

**Can I assign specific simulations to specific students?** Yes, through a class: create a lesson containing the simulations you want and assign it. See [Lessons](/teach/lessons.md).

**Where do I start with students new to VR?** Begin with a Guided simulation, and keep headset sessions to 10 to 15 minutes at a time.

**Can I control which simulations appear on the headsets?** Yes, under **Settings > Skillful**. See [Simulations](/skillful/simulations.md).

## Tracking and reporting

**What can I see about student progress?** For a class, who has started and finished each lesson, down to each simulation run with its timeline and replay. For a group session, who joined and finished, live. See [Analytics](/analytics.md).

**Can I export data?** Yes. A simulation's runs export to CSV from its Analytics tab. See [Export](/analytics/data-export.md).

## Headsets

**What does a Meta Quest need?** See [System Requirements](/start-here/system-requirements.md). HyperSkill is an app from the Meta store; see [Get HyperSkill on your devices](/start-here/get-hyperskill-on-your-devices.md).

**What if a simulation will not load?** Most load errors are connectivity. Check the headset's network, then try again. If it keeps failing, email <support@siminsights.zendesk.com> with the simulation's name.

**How do I reduce motion sickness?** Prefer simulations without forced movement, minimize teleporting, and set up a room-scale boundary so students can walk rather than teleport.
