# AI Chat

AI Chat lets you create interactive learning experiences with lifelike roleplaying partners. These pages explain the feature and how to author it.

## What can AI Chat do?

AI Chat empowers you to design AI-powered characters that can engage in open-ended conversations with your learners. These characters are powered by GPT-4/Gemini Pro, allowing for natural and engaging interactions. Here are some of the possibilities:

* **Simulate Real-World Scenarios:** Create characters that act as instructors, patients, customers, or any other persona needed for realistic training simulations.
* **Provide Feedback and Guidance:** Design characters that can assess learner performance, answer questions, and offer guidance throughout the learning experience.
* **Branching Dialogue Paths:** Craft conversation trees where characters respond differently based on learner choices, creating a more immersive experience.

With AI Chat, you can go beyond static experiences and create dynamic learning environments where users can practice communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in a safe and interactive space.
