Authors must upload these files to their media repository before they can be added to simulations. HyperSkill supports the following media files. ### Images Images can be attached to virtual object surfaces like a display monitor or a poster. Accepted files: .jpg, .jpeg, .png ### Audio Audio can provide immersive sounds related to the simulation environment, or more customized system sounds (chimes, alarms, etc.). Accepted files: .wav, .mp3, .ogg ### Documents Documents uploaded to HyperSkill can be included as supplementary material (such as manuals or user guides) to assist learners with performing tasks in the simulation. Documents are also used in PDF question answering by AI Chat. Accepted files: .pdf ## How to upload media in HyperSkill Studio 1. To access the media repository, click on the menu icon from the home page labeled **Media Library**.

2. Select between the tabs to upload images, audio files, or PDF documents.

3. Click on **+ New** and select a file to upload.

4. To delete an image, click on the **Trash** icon. ## How to upload media in HyperSkill Platform Your media is at [platform.siminsights.com/assets](https://platform.siminsights.com/assets), with your role set to Author. Choose the **Media** tab and press **Upload**. PNG, JPG, MP3, WAV, OGG and PDF files are accepted. Filter the list by **Images**, **Audio** or **Documents**, and download or delete a file from its row menu. See Display Image and Play Audio.

## Adding documents to your simulation To add documents to your simulation, navigate to **Settings**. Under **Global Settings**, click on **+ Add** next to **Documents**.
