# Start Timer

Create and start a timer that can be used throughout the simulation.

Start Timer creates and starts a timer that can be used throughout the simulation. You can also create the timer in this action. Timers show up as stats in the feedback panel. To stop a timer, use End Timer.

**New Timer Name:** Creates a new timer. The timer is then available in the Timer Name dropdown.

**Timer Name:** The timer that will be started.

**Timer Action:** Whether the timer increments or decrements.

**Start Time:** The time the timer starts at.

**Reset Timer:** Resets the timer to the specified time.
