VX Publisher
Overview
The VX Publisher is a Unity tool, the VX Packager project, that packages your 3D content as HyperSkill virtual entities (virtual objects, virtual persons and virtual spaces) and uploads them to your HyperSkill account. Download the Unity VX Packager from the dashboard under Settings > Downloads > Developer Tools. See Get HyperSkill on your devices.
The VX Packager does the packaging work for you:
imports FBX and OBJ models with their textures into an asset folder and creates the prefab;
makes each asset self-contained, by copying every texture, material, shader and model it uses into its folder;
adds a default collider when the asset has none;
renders a thumbnail and uploads it with the asset;
builds every installed platform and a .unitypackage in one step;
uploads a new asset, or updates the one you uploaded before;
imports an asset from HyperSkill back into Unity as editable files;
packages and uploads whole folders of assets at once.
Before you start
Open the VX Packager project with Unity 2022.3.19f1 through Unity Hub. Install the build support modules for the platforms you publish to; platforms without build support are skipped.
Log in once: open Window > UI Toolkit > VX Uploader, click Login and sign in with your HyperSkill account in the browser window that opens. The VX Packager uses this login for every upload. If an upload reports that you are not authorized, log in again.

Open Tools > VX Packager.
Asset folders
Each asset has its own folder, by default under Assets/VO, with the same name as the asset. Asset names cannot contain spaces.
VO and VP:
Assets/VO/<Name>/<Name>.prefabVS:
Assets/VO/<Name>/<Name>.unity
The folder also contains <Name>.vx.json, which stores the asset's packaging settings and, after the first upload, its virtual object ID. Built packages are saved to the VOPackages folder of the project.
