# Author View

The Author View of the dashboard is the default, standard view of the application. It allows the user to view aggregate information about any authored simulations, shared simulations, or group sessions. Along with the total aggregate data, users can also view the details of any individual learner sessions run in a simulation, including the time the session lasted, events within the simulation, the device, total actions, and more. Examples of the author view of a simulation can be found below.
