Competency models in the HyperSkill Platform

Reading skill mastery and competency model results in HyperSkill Platform.

In the HyperSkill Platform you can view the performance data of all the learners who played a simulation. You can view either:

  • The aggregate performance across all learner sessions, which shows the average skill mastery of the overall model and of each specific skill assessed.

  • The skill mastery breakdown of an individual learner session.

Every skill starts a run at 0.5, or 50%.

Note: You will not be able to see performance rating information if a competency model has not been attached to the simulation through HyperSkill Studio. See Competency models in HyperSkill to learn how to attach a competency model to a simulation.

View the competency model

To see more about the competency model used in a simulation, click View Competency Model in the Skill Mastery or Average Skill Mastery section. The model opens in a tree format, with more information about the average mastery of individual skills across all users of the simulation.

For how the numbers are calculated, see How scores work.
